On June 9th from 6-9PM Henry A. Davidsen participated in the first-ever official Philly Beer Week event with a dress code, “Brews & Bowties” at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia. Guests sampled specialty beers from eight of the area’s finest craft breweries (20+ beers total), ate hors d’oeuvres and enjoyed music from the Rolling Barrels house band.
The event was strictly cocktail attire, no jeans allowed, but bowties encouraged; and of course Henry A. Davidsen was on site, along with special guest Edward Armah of Butterfly Bowties (www.butterflybowties.com) to teach everyone how to tie one like a proper socialite. While guests enjoyed getting gussied up for a night out on town, drank high-end brews and hobnobbed with Philly’s elite, some of the proceeds from the event went to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
