2024 SUIT DRIVE CHALLENGE

HENRY A. DAVIDSEN COLLECTS PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS CASUAL WEAR TO SUPPORT THE WARDROBE

THE SUIT DRIVE CHALLENGE AIMS TO COLLECT 10,000 ITEMS BENEFITING PHILADELPHIANS IN NEED

Henry A. Davidsen, Master Tailors & Image Consultants, Philadelphia’s premier purveyor of custom men’s clothing, is challenging Philadelphians and tri-staters to clean their closets and donate gently-used suit items and all-gender business casual attire from April 8th through May 10th in support of The Henry A. Davidsen Suit Drive Challenge benefiting The Wardrobe.

The Wardrobe LogoFor the sixth time, President and Founder of Henry A. Davidsen, Brian Lipstein, is excited to connect and support the community by organizing a Suit Drive Challenge collecting gently-used suits, ties, jackets, shirts, pants, polo shirts, slacks, khakis, belts, and shoes to provide a professional wardrobe to unemployed and low-income individuals – from laid-off workers to recovering substance abusers, veterans, and returning citizens.

“In 2020, our efforts were disrupted by the pandemic, but we still collected more than 5,000 items to aid those experiencing clothing insecurity,” said Lipstein. “We’re thrilled to team up with The Wardrobe as well as our returning and new-this-year drop-off locations and partners to once again support this great cause benefiting Philadelphians in need.”

All professional and business casual attire collected during the four-week initiative will directly benefit The Wardrobe, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization providing clothing to anyone experiencing clothing insecurity to overcome this barrier of advancement, including unemployed, low-income men and women. New this year, the Henry A. Davidsen team will accept any clothing item, including children’s clothing. A focus remains on gently worn professional and business casual clothing for men.
